Job Title: Environmental Technician (Cylinder Project) Job Description
The Environmental Technician is responsible for the consolidation, treatment, storage, packing, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste while adhering to environmentally responsible and compliant practices, policies, and procedures. This role requires maintaining detailed and accurate records and completing required documentation accurately, timely, and legibly in accordance with applicable regulations and customer policies.
ResponsibilitiesThis position operates outdoors year-round, requiring the use of full personal protective equipment at all times. Employees will work in varying weather conditions and must be comfortable with potential disorganization during the training process, which includes both online modules and job shadowing. The training period may take 2-3 weeks before independent work on-site. Shift hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tacoma, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.25 - $23.25/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
